Ty Machado, born January 28, 2002, in New Braunfels, Texas, was known as a bright and passionate young man whose energy and talent touched many lives. A proud graduate of Navarro High School, Class of 2020, Ty was deeply loved by his family, especially his twin sister, Taya Allert, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. To his parents, Michelle and Joey Machado, he was their pride and joy.
From a young age, Ty stood out for his remarkable dedication to competition BBQ, a passion that took him across the country and brought him recognition on national platforms, including appearances on the Food Network and championship titles earned before the age of 16. His creativity and drive extended far beyond cooking—he also loved art, fishing, music, traveling, and spending time with his beloved dogs, Rosie and Walker.
In his professional life, Ty worked with Encompass Services as a Crew Chief, traveling across the country and contributing to important surveying work. He was respected by colleagues for his strong work ethic, leadership, and dependable nature. His family expressed deep gratitude for the support shown by his workplace following his passing.
