The Massachusetts community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Hadley Boucher, affectionately known as “Haddie,” who passed away after a courageous thirteen-month battle with DIPG, a rare and aggressive form of childhood brain cancer. She was just seven years old.
Hadley was the youngest of three sisters and was diagnosed with DIPG in April of last year at only six years old. Throughout her journey, she inspired countless people with her extraordinary strength, bravery, grace, and unwavering spirit. Though so young, Haddie faced every challenge with remarkable courage while continuing to spread light, joy, and love to everyone around her.
Family, friends, and supporters across social media have shared heartfelt tributes honoring the beautiful impact Hadley made during her short but unforgettable life. Many describe her as a mighty girl whose laughter, smile, and radiant personality touched hearts far beyond those who knew her personally.
Loved ones say Hadley showed the world what true courage looks like. Even during the most difficult moments of her illness, she continued to dance, play, laugh, compete, and bring happiness to others. Her indomitable spirit became a source of inspiration for countless people following her journey.
In an emotional message shared after her passing, Hadley’s mother described her daughter as the greatest privilege of her life and expressed overwhelming gratitude for every cuddle, laugh, memory, and moment they shared together.
“This morning, our sweet Hadley passed peacefully surrounded by love,” the message read. “She fought with a strength and courage that most adults could never imagine, while still somehow keeping her light, her smile, and the little pieces of joy she gave so freely to everyone around her.”
The family also asked for continued prayers and support, especially for Hadley’s sisters, Olivia and Peyton, as they navigate the unimaginable pain of losing their beloved Haddie B.
Though her battle has ended, those who loved Hadley take comfort in believing she is now finally at peace — free once again to run, dance, play ball, and shine brightly without pain.
Hadley Boucher’s legacy of courage, love, humility, and joy will continue to inspire all who heard her story. Her beautiful light will never fade from the hearts of those who loved her.
Hadley Boucher will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and endlessly loved. May she rest peacefully.
