The Port Deposit community is mourning the tragic loss of Richard E. Hickman III, a 38-year-old man who died Thursday night following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident in Cecil County.
According to the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, emergency responders were dispatched to the 300 block of Camp Meeting Ground Road at approximately 11:10 p.m. after reports of a serious crash. Preliminary findings indicate that Hickman was operating a 2024 Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound when he lost control while navigating an uphill curve.
